Outdoor features at the villa include a large stone swimming pool surrounded by lovely gardens and overlooking the Tiber River Valley. The pool has a maximum depth of 1.5m and a shallow area, which is ideal for children. The pool terrace area comes with outdoor chairs and sun loungers as well as outdoor lighting for the evenings. There's also a nice herb garden complete with basil, bay, sage and rosemary. Around the house are an abundance of fruit trees, walnut and olive groves, fig and cypresses, rows of lavender and jasmine and rosemary bushes.
Inside fabulous antique stone and terracotta floors set the scene, a wonderful combination of throughout the villa, retractable screens on all windows and doors and air conditioning and heating throughout.

Villa di Mandola is a meticulously restored estate: stone fireplaces, terra cotta floors, handcrafted majolica tables and luxurious amenities throughout. Its a prime position, very close to the fascinating cities of Todi and Perugia, perfect for exploring some of Italy's most spectacular towns, cities and countryside.
In the mornings you can wake up to delightful breakfasts of fresh figs, cherries, apricots, peaches and pomegranates picked from the gardens to accompany your breakfast. At lunch, drizzle the estates's own freshly pressed extra virgin olive oil - from its grove of 250 olive trees - over fresh focaccia from one of the nearby villages. From the infinity pool there are spectacular views of the walled village of Piedicolle.
Guests arriving from abroad usually fly into Rome or Florence. It takes approximately 2 hours to drive from either airport to Villa di Mandola. The airport in Perugia (San Edigio) offers regular connections from Milan as well as London/Stansted.
