Our first dining highlight was the private chef experience in our villa! The talented chef curated a menu tailored to our tastes, woven in with plenty of authentic Provençal flair. It was a real treat to observe the process up close! An elevated night in a top luxury catered villa is ideal for those seeking privacy and exclusive service in a beautiful setting.
We then visited Chez Camille, a legendary gem tucked into the cove of Bonne Terrasse. Known for serving the best bouillabaisse in St Tropez, wood-fired and rich with local fish varieties, it presented a true taste of heritage in a warm, convivial setting.
Our final dining delight was lunch at Thym Sauvage, a chic eatery in the heart of Grimaud. Set in a peaceful garden dotted with cacti and mulberry trees, this refined restaurant from Chef Nicolas M. served up bold, creative dishes that seamlessly fuse seasonal Mediterranean produce with global flavours.

Heli-Tours over St Tropez
A luxury holiday to St Tropez offers so much more beyond the villa’s grounds. One of the most exciting and exhilarating moments of the trip was taking a private heli-tour above the St Tropez peninsula and beyond. Seeing the coast from a bird’s-eye view was absolutely breathtaking; terracotta rooftops, turquoise waters, and the golden Pampelonne Beach stretched out beneath us like a postcard.
Flying over Port Grimaud was nothing short of magical, too. From above, this ‘Little Venice’ of the South of France revealed its network of pastel houses, rows of boats bobbing on the harbour, and quaint cobbled streets. Exploring it on foot was just as special! Visiting Port Grimaud felt lively and relaxed, with families enjoying gondola rides through the canals, couples eating ice creams by the quay, and friends chatting with a glass or two of Provence Pinot at waterside cafés. It’s a place that really does capture the spirit of South Coastal living, perfect for an all-round luxury holiday on the French Riviera.
Wine Tasting in St Tropez
Our private vineyard tour around Chateau de Chausse was another standout moment and a highly recommended experience for those who appreciate wine in the sunshine. We managed to get an intimate look at Provençal winemaking, from vine to cellar. Our impassioned guide led us through the estate, highlighting the care and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle. The tasting that followed in the lavender gardens of the Château was a sensory journey through the region, complete with crisp rosés, elegant whites, and full-bodied reds.
To elevate the experience even further, we were then led to a hidden gazebo nestled within the vines, where a gorgeous picnic awaited. Surrounded by rolling vineyard views and immersed in sunlight, we sipped additional estate wines whilst grazing on local cheeses and delicacies. This quietly luxurious experience certainly left a lasting impression on our senses, from the complexity of the wines to the soothing aroma of lavender in the field.
Yacht Charters in St Tropez
Of course, St Tropez’s best beaches are the perfect setting for languid afternoons in the warmth or to capture the softened evening hues as the sun disappears over the horizon. But, as golden hour approached, we set sail on a private sunset yacht cruise, and it was undoubtedly the perfect way to end the day. With ambient music playing in the background and the sea breeze in our hair, we popped the champagne and raised a glass to the beauty of the French Riviera. We were even accompanied by our private villa chef on board, for a bespoke experience at sea! With rosé in hand, we cruised along the coast as the chef prepared an elegant spread of fresh canapés for us to enjoy on deck.
As the sun began to set, the sky treated us to the most beautiful fiery colours, casting a warm glow over the sea. It was one of those rare moments that feels both peaceful and electric, ensuring that the experience stays with you long after the journey ends. Floating off the shores of St Tropez and watching the sun set with gourmet bites in hand? It doesn’t get more effortlessly glamorous than that, and it provided an unforgettable end to our luxury villa holiday in St Tropez!
