A beautiful farm house and cottage set amidst 100 acres of woodlands, criss-crossed with walking paths and picnic spots, surrounded by terraces and gardens of cypress trees, umbrella pines, roses, herbs and wisteria, with a full size, private tennis court and a spectacular swimming pool with its own pool house, kitchen and outdoor dining area. Villa La Serra commands a wonderful hilltop in the Tuscan mountains with uninterrupted panoramic views.
The villa is particularly well-equipped with flat screen TVs, surround sound, a multi region DVD player and CD player with a connection for an iPod. A Wii is also provided. Interiors at the villa make for easy living, with bedrooms nicely placed around the property and split between floors for privacy and convenience, one on the ground, four on the first and one on the upper level.
All the bedrooms are of a very high quality, with top of the range luxury beds and beautiful en suite bathrooms with creamy travertine marble floors, spacious marble or granite showers and three include free standing designer bath tubs. The style is re-assuringly Tuscan feeling, whilst embracing modern, classical features, fixtures and appliances.
Ground floor rooms have terracotta floors, large exposed beams, comfortable sofas and patio doors all around that open up onto the extensive terraces. There's a superbly well-equipped, modern kitchen with oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and an American style fridge freezer with automatic ice making facilities, washer & dryer . Two separate spacious sitting rooms one with a large open fire place and one with a dining area that seats 12 guests at an oval wooden table. Surrounding the villa you are spoilt for choice with a selection of separate terraces for dining and entertaining including a garden shaded by an old mulberry tree.
