The sea inside the lagoon is as smooth as a swimming pool so it is safe and ideal for children. Snorkelers can enjoy a swim out to the white surf of the coral reef. The lagoon is very sheltered from prevailing winds making it one of the best locations for winter months (June to September). Mont Choisy is located next to Trou Aux Biches and Pointe Aux Canonniers. This residential beach area is a quiet location protected by offshore coral reefs, the wide lagoon is perfect for swimming and water sports. Water sports enthusiasts will be in their element. The “Blue Water Diving Centre” and the “Killer Sports Fishing Centre” are located here and are open year round.  Water skiing, pedal boats, windsurfing and glass bottom boat trips are available as well as cruising aboard catamarans, undersea walks and exploring in a submarine (Blue Safari). Jutting out to sea on the north west coast of the island, Pointe Aux Canonniers is a tranquil beachside residential area, with crystal clear waters and silver sands – ideal for families.
