Villa Akatsuki adopts an open-plan design, combining the living and dining areas into a large common area with convivial living in mind. Comfortable sofas invite guests to rest their legs after a long day exploring the island of Koh Samui. A table tennis and mahjong table are available for guests to spend idle hours. The villa's dining space opens out to the pool and garden space. A TV lounge offers guests a place to retreat and cath up on a favourite show or some light reading, away from the energetic living room.

Villa Akatsuki's highlight would be its three-level swimming pool overlooking the ocean, offering plenty of space for the little ones to splash around while the adults relax on the poolside loungers and parasols. An 18-seater outdoor dining space offers alfresco dining for guests to take in the magnificent coastal view while enjoying a Thai BBQ. Spend hours of leisure in the villa's tropical-themed, landscaped garden. For the sports enthusiasts, a tennis court and a basketball court are available for guests to add a sense of rivalry to their holiday. Plenty of seating areas are dotted around the villa's grounds, allowing guests to enjoy the magnificent coastal view from multiple perspectives.

All of the villa's spa treatments include a mix of exotic oils, spices, fruits and essences taken from native Thai plants. A spa room with massage tables is on hand for guests to enjoy. You may find yourself slipping into the hot tub after a massage treatment at the hands of expert therapists. A yoga deck offers incredibly scenic views during morning, mid-day and evening yoga sessions.

Villa Akatsuki can accommodate up to 17 guests across 6 unique suites, each offering a different atmosphere and experience. The Kokoro suite, for example, is centred in a lush tropical garden and boasts vaulted ceilings, a plush bed, and a rejuvenating rain-style shower, and also offers direct access to a private garden and pool. The popular Umi suite is the villa's master suite and backs straight onto the villa's private beach. It is tastefully decorated in a traditional Japanese style and boasts phenomenal views of the Gulf of Thailand from it's king size bed and soaking tub, as the front of the suite has floor-to-ceiling windows. The Raku suite is a spacious suite, located on a private floor, perfect for families or small groups, and offers private terraces, one-of-a-kind bespoke furniture, and Japanese-style futon mattresses. The Mizu suite is an open-plan suite which overlooks the villa's atrium, lush garden, plunge pool, and spa, and can be closed off for privacy.

For added convenience, air conditioning is available throughout the villa. Private parking and security are also available.

Prices are based on the exclusive use of the villa for up to 17 guests with the services of a private chef, concierge and daily housekeeping. Whilst breakfast is complimentary, please note that food and drinks for lunch and dinner are charged in addition.

Location

Villa Akatsuki is located on the west coast of Koh Samui in Lipa Noi. This beachfront villa flaunts oceanside views, sitting meters away from Lipa Noi Beach, offering privacy from the hustle and bustle of tourists. This famously Instagrammable beach offers activities like snorkeling and volleyball. The fine white sand beaches with no rock or coral and shallow waters for 100 metres out make it a great location for families and children. The remoteness of the location is a great attraction for many visitors looking to escape the rat-race and relax in a tranquil setting.

The closest airport to the villa is Koh Samui International Airport (USM), which is approximately a 46 minute car ride.
