Estuary House
Estuary House Information
A landscaped, very green garden is accessorised with a fire pit, a barbecue and a hot tub, and includes an unusual diversion for children in the form of a maze. The fashionable and attractive towns of Rock and Padstow are only 15 minutes cycle ride away along the Camel Trail.
Estuary House is truly private and enjoys sweeping views along the Camel Estuary. Sleek and stylish interiors characterise the house, with high standards of comfort. The top floor is dedicated to one spectacular open plan living and dining area, with panoramic views across the surrounding fields. The central heating is all under floor and provided by Geo-thermal. The plentiful hot water is heated by solar panels in the summer, backed up by immersion heaters. A log fire is in the living room with wood provided.
VILLA LAYOUT
Ground Floor
The front door leads onto a wet room for boots and coats, and a laundry room. Beyond the laundry room is the spacious hall with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and the large playroom beyond. The playroom leads onto the lobby.
There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. The first bedroom can accommodate 3 single beds, with a bathroom across the hall. The second bedroom can accommodate 5 single beds in a dormitory style, with an en suite shower room.
First Floor
The first floor has 4 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and shower room.
Second Floor
The second floor opens onto a spectacular open plan kitchen and living room, with larder, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls. There is a terrace with BBQ and a table seating approximately 20 people.
Housekeeper is provided and consists of a couple who live in a self contained apartment on the ground floor of the house, with a separate outside entrance to the rear. The housekeepers are on hand should guests need anything during their stay. The housekeepers apartment is closed off and separate to the guest living space in the main house.
Location
Approaching the house by a track through fields, there is no hint that you are about to be greeted by the sight of a large and very modern house of slate and glass, utterly minimalist in design. The views of the Camel Estuary are outstanding and there is access to a boat mooring at the bottom of the garden.
Located on the Camel Trail, Padstow is 15 minutes bike ride where you can take the ferry to Rock. Shops and restaurants in Padstow 6 km, Wadebridge 6 km.
Places of Interest: Rock 10 km, Port Isaac 12 km, Boscastle 20 km.
Airports: Newquay International Airport 20 km. Train stations: Bodmin 16 km
